From early strategy to post-launch value demonstration, Prime HCD helps healthcare stakeholders make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes, drawing on primary and secondary real-world data sources.
Prime HCD supports clients in a number of different ways, including:
- Defining the Innovation
Clarifying the value of therapies by framing unmet need, defining patient populations, selecting endpoints, highlighting novel or first-in-class attributes.
Typical projects include burden of illness studies (BOI), chart review studies and endpoint validation studies to ensure clinical and patient relevance, as well as clinical outcomes assessments (COA).
- Demonstrating Benefit
Showing meaningful clinical and patient-centred outcomes through functional improvements, patient-reported outcomes (PROs), caregiver impact and comparator analyses.
Projects often involve chart review studies, external control arm (ECA) comparisons and minimal clinically important differences (MCID).
- Leveraging Stakeholder Insights
Integrating perspectives from patients, caregivers, clinicians, and experts using qualitative research, expert elicitation methods and preference studies, e.g., discrete choice experiments, Delphi panels.
These projects help capture lived experience, quantify patient priorities, and fill evidence gaps such as durability assumptions or long-term prognosis.
- Generating Evidence of Value
Quantifying impact with health economic modelling, productivity and societal analyses. Typical projects include early economic modelling (EEM), cost-effectiveness modelling (CEA) and budget impact studies (BIM).
This work supports early-stage, flexible modelling frameworks providing insight into the financial feasibility of adopting a new intervention, through to addressing immediate payer questions and longer-term market access considerations.
