As Principal Health Economist at Prime HCD. Idaira has a leading role in a variety of multinational projects, such as burden of illness studies, data modelling, patient preference research and qualitative studies, spanning several disease areas (eg, Hemophilia, Huntington’s Disease, Endometriosis, Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Bladder Cancer, etc).

She has extensive experience in developing statistical and econometric models to draw insights from data and working with large complex datasets, including patient electronic records, patient reported outcomes and medical cost data. Idaira has an extensive publication record in peer-review journals and international conferences and experience in organizing and delivering expert review groups and ad-boards.

Idaira completed her PhD in Economics at the Centre for Health Economics at the University of York. After graduating, she worked at the Centre for Health Economics as a postdoctoral research fellow for three years.
